ONE PLAYER - ONE CLUB RULING HAS COME INTO PLACE FROM SEASON (2007 - 2008)


This ruling was introduced across the whole of Wales from the start of Season 2007 - 2008 . The main implications of the full ruling are as follows:-

1. No player can be registered for more than one club at any time

2. No player will be able to play for more than 2 clubs in any one season.

3. Players moving from Club to Club irrespective of which Leagues the Clubs are in will have to complete a transfer form

4. The FAW will maintain a data base of all players to ensure they are not registered for more than one club.

5. Registration for the Welsh League for season 2009 /10 will be allowed between August 01 , 2009 and March 31st , 2010.
