A good first half performance and a no show in the second half could well have put pay to the Steelmens division 2 status.
The returning Denis Spiteri , Leighton Golledge and Mike Aviss were all included but this was offset by no Ryan Corey , Marcus Power , Jody Mcintosh and Matt Smith.
The first half saw the Steelmen create but miss three decent one on one chances but take none of them and the second half then saw Ammanford hit two goals in a two minute spell on 60 minutes , poor defending was to blame and even though the Steelmen pushed hard to get a goal and had one chance cleared off the line it was never going to be enough and once again they got what they deserved from the fixture .

It looks all over now for division two status and thoughts of next seasion and rebuilding a decent enough squad to challenge for a decent season ?
