Manager Vacancy
LLANWERN INVITE APPLICATIONS FOR MANAGER AND ASSISTANT MANAGER
7 March 2010
Long-serving Llanwern manager Laurence Owen tendered his resignation from that position after the game on Saturday. The club accepted his resignation with regret and wish to express their thanks and appreciation for all the hard work he put in for the club on and off the pitch over the past seven years. We wish him well in all his future endeavours.
The club are now looking to replace him.
Applications are invited from managers with experience of managing and training senior amateur teams to organise the team to try to maintain their Second Division Two status and then to rebuild the squad in the close season to aim for a successful 2010-2011 season.
An assistant is also needed, locally-based, who will be able to assist the manager by using his local knowledge to recruit players from the area to help the rebuilding process.
For both positions, call the secretary, Alan Watkins on 01633 671748 or e-mail him on richard.watkins1@ntlworld.com.
