The Welsh league cup is over for another season after a below par defensive performance at first division Careau .
   Without Morgan , Pimm , Price , Windsor and Screen and after a few bad results changes were made for the cup. Things didnt improve at the back despite the changes and Llanwerrn were one down after 13 minutes after an error but were back level 10 mins later when Southan shrugged off his man and fired home from 10 yards out . Careau player then spat his dummy out ranting and raving at his Manager and walked off the park !!!
  The game ebbed and flowed and the home side could have gone further in front but the home striker fired straight at Stretcher in goal. Truman then volleyed wide after a good passing move , another mistake at the back saw Careau go 2-1 up on 33 mins .

HT 2-1

Llanwern dominated the opening 15 mins of the half and played some decent football but again conceded and it was 4-1 seveb mins later when Spiteri and Stretcher were at fault. 
  Hooper then made it 4-2 with a header on 73 mins and then it was probably six missed chances and some great goalkeeping that stopped Llanwern getting back into the tie , Careau also hit the post in this spell.

Another bad team defending performance that need rectifying sooner rather than later !!!!!!!!!
